Connections vol. 24, no. 1, Winter 2025, 25th Anniversary: Foundations and Futures of the PfP Consortium

Twenty-five years after its creation, the PfP Consortium of Defense Academies and Security Studies Institutes continues to serve its stakeholders by adapting to new challenges, providing education and training solutions and policy recommendations, and building partners’ capacity. The Consortium’s activities contribute to increasing regional stability, enhancing global security cooperation to address current and emerging transnational security challenges, and sharing a commitment to democratic principles and values. Its network of policymakers, military professionals, and academics has made a tangible impact on intellectual interoperability, security sector cooperation, and institutional capacity building. This anniversary issue of Connections presents the origins of the Consortium, the activities, contributions, and prospects of each of its working groups, its working modalities, and future opportunities.
