Abstract:

This article describes requirements of modern command and control of armed forces and some opportunities provided by advanced information technologies. The focus is on technologies for administrative support and management, with particular emphasis on GroupWare software and systems. The authors study the relation between scientists, software engineers and users in development and implementation of such technologies.
